1.3 Properties and Structural Characterization of Hydrogels
1.3.1 Photocuring Time
In this experiment, the effects of acrylamide (AAm) and lithium phenyl-2,4,6-trimethylbenzoylphosphinate (LAP) on the photocuring time of hydrogels were investigated by varying their percentages of the total solid mass (%). The experiments were conducted at room temperature: a 405 nm light source (1.22 mW/cm²) was used to irradiate the precursor solutions from a distance of 10 cm. The curing endpoint was determined using the test tube tilt method, and the curing time was recorded. Each experimental condition was tested in triplicate, and the results were averaged.
