2.2.4 Static Contact Angle The surface wettability of the hydrogel was evaluated by measuring the static contact angle in this study. The results showed that the hydrogel surface is hydrophilic, with a contact angle of 85.57 ± 1.54° with ultrapure water. This property did not change significantly after the addition of inorganic salts; for example, the contact angle of Y-HG-1 was 84.97 ± 3.98°, which is consistent with that of HG (Figure 3b).
