3.4 Expression of EGF mRNA, FGF-2 mRNA, and VEGF mRNA in Wound Tissue of Rat Skin
Compared with the normal control group A, the expression of EGF, FGF-2, and VEGF in the skin tissue of rats in the model control group B was significantly reduced (P < 0.01). Recombinant mussel adhesive protein significantly increased the expression of EGF mRNA, FGF-2 mRNA, and VEGF mRNA. Collagen protein significantly increased the expression of EGF mRNA (P < 0.05), while the expression of FGF-2 mRNA and VEGF mRNA showed a certain increasing trend, but without statistical significance (P > 0.05).
