3.3 Effects of Recombinant Mussel Adhesive Protein on the Expression of PI3K, AKT, p-AKT, mTOR, and p-mTOR Proteins in Rat Skin Wounds
Compared with the normal control group, the protein expression level of PI3K in rats in model group B was significantly decreased (P<0.01). Compared with model group B, the protein expression level of PI3K in rats treated with recombinant mussel adhesive protein was significantly increased (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the protein expression level of AKT among all groups (P>0.05). Compared with the normal control group, the protein expression levels of p-AKT and p-mTOR in rats in the model group were significantly decreased. In the recombinant mussel adhesive protein group and the collagen protein group, the protein expression levels of p-AKT and p-mTOR in rat skin wounds were significantly higher than those in the model group (P<0.01). The protein expression level of mTOR in each drug group showed a certain increase, but there was no statistical difference (P>0.05). Compared with the normal control group, the ratio of p-AKT to AKT in rats in the model group was significantly reduced (P<0.05). The ratio of p-AKT to AKT in the recombinant mussel adhesive protein group was significantly higher compared to the model group (P<0.05). The ratio of p-mTOR to mTOR in each drug group showed a certain increase, but it was not statistically significant (P>0.05).
