Yifeng is an independently developed absorbable bone wax that overcomes the material limitations of existing similar products. It is a novel synthetic degradable polymer material that has obtained a national invention patent. The new material possesses both hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments, allowing it to swell without dissolving. This property enables it to provide effective sealing strength for approximately 2 weeks, preventing washout or dislodgement and eliminating the risk of secondary bleeding. Additionally, the material degrades before bone callus formation, avoiding space occupation and not interfering with bone healing. By 12 weeks, the material is almost completely degraded and is metabolized out of the body as water and carbon dioxide.
